Although we take out the time to listen and give direction we must realize that every individual or group will not necessarily follow the advice we give. I love this! We are family! Paul told Timothy to treat the mature women as mothers! That's a place of respect. This is the church, why in the world would we want to do that? Because God is the Father and He loves family!
