The Dog Lady

Matt. 15:26 - But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

Hello my Sistah's! I've not been writing a few days, you know...LIFE! This last two weeks has been fun and frustrating all at the same time. My Darling husband said I was needing to relax a minute and decided (without my knowlege or consent) to take me to get a massage. And planned my Friday and Saturday for me....

I love this Dude with all my heart, He takes GOOD…

Manna Moment - After the Storm

Genesis 8:11 “When the dove returned to him in the evening, there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf! Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth.” As I read the text I thought about how I went to bed Saturday night when the wind was howling, streets swaying before God. When I awoke on Sunday the sun was out and the only evidence of Irene in my court was leaves all over the lawn. We headed out for church it was then we saw the chaos. Down…

Manna Moment - Peace in the Storm

Matthew 8:26 “He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.” Good morning it’s Happy Feet Friday! We have had heck of a week! I can’t invite you to much for the weekend, except encourage you to stay faithful and content knowing that God is in control of all things. That he controls the elements. It should hit the Maryland area where the Governor has proclaimed a state…

Freedom in the Midst of the Quake!

Manna Moment - Freedom in the Midst of the Quake -- Acts 16:26 “Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose.”  Here Paul and Silas help a girl who is being prostituted by evil owners. When Paul and Silas command the demonic spirit from her they were upset that their cash cow as no longer bringing in the dough. They called the authorities (the po…

A Tree of Life

"She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her." (Proverbs 3:18)

The tree of life in the Garden of Eden was a literal tree, whose marvelous fruit apparently had the medicinal ability to retard the aging process indefinitely, even for men and women under God's curse (Genesis 3:22-24). This amazing tree will be planted again along the streets and rivers of the… Continue

Same Difference....

Gal. 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

I was looking at the pictures from Aunt Flora's funeral. As I looked at these pictures, I saw people that I see all the time, though I only see them every once in a while.

I know that sounds crazy, but hear me out. People are pretty much the same wherever you go.....The dialect, the accent, the food, the outfits may be…

When you are in the Joseph Pit......

When you are overwhelmed by responsibilities in this life, the walk of the ministry, family, friends, jobs and your own self images. The Joseph pit pops up in your spirit as a reminder of what God has in store for you, even though you have shared the vision with family, friends, ministry and your own self the siblings of Joseph come to mind, how they became jealous and envious of the anointing on his life, they did not recognize the anointing at all if they had they would have bowed down to… Continue

More Mercy

Ladies let us be grateful that many individuals and groups value our opinions enough to come and ask for advice. Although we take out the time to listen and give direction we must realize that every individual or group will not necessarily follow the advice we give. I continue to hear complaints regarding leaders wasting time and individuals are not taking heed to the guidance and direction that has been given but think for a moment. What if God was saying the exact same thing regarding us?… Continue

Two pennies to rub together....Go Widow Woman!

Luke 21: 2 - And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

OK, so now you know that I LOVE women, hey, I am one myself! ;)

I read this passage and it blessed me so. I thought about some of the women that I have known that had to give their husbands up in death. They didn't

just fall away, they didn't just give up.

Strong women that had lives of their own, and didn't vicariously live through their husband or children.

Sometimes…

These Women

Luke 24: 10 - It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.

What things? Well let's rewind a bit and see. Jesus has been crucified, he's been buried behind the gigantic stone...(they were trying to keep Jesus in, which also means they were trying to keep others out..)

These ladies have gone to anoint His body with the…

Audience of the King

I Kings 3:16 - Then came there two women, that were harlots, unto the king, and stood before him.

I'm amazed sometimes of how little regard that some Christian's hold for women. God is so merciful, that during the early days, he even cared for ...... harlots, prostitutes, women of the night, ho's , skeezer's.....whatever you wanna call it.

Here are two women, the last two that I would have expected to see in the presence of the King. But here they stand, making their cases… Continue

YOU are SPECIAL!!!

‎1 Timothy 5:2- The elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.

I love this! We are family! Paul told Timothy to treat the mature women as mothers! That's a place of respect. This is the church, why in the world would we want to do that? Because God is the Father and He loves family!

Paul teaches Timothy that in the kindgom that there is a place for everyone. Paul commended the teaching that came from Lois, Timothy's mother and Eunice his grandmother.…

Judgement before Jury?? Really?

"If you've never taken the time to get to know me, I would advise you stop judging me." ~~ Chelsea Johnson

Wow. I asked permission from this young lady to use her status from today. It sparked something in me.

Listen ladies, if you dont' know someone, or their circumstance, how in the world can you arbitrarily just say....they just.________. You can fill that blank in for yourself.....

Sometimes, we pass judgement on a person or a situation without EVER having…

I Won't be silent ANYMORE!!!

Ps 68:11The Lord doth give the saying, The female proclaimers [are] a numerous host.~(Young's Literal Translation) - We are the Women of God! We have His Word! We can run and tell that!

No holds barred. I once said that "I won't be silent anymore"! I was told that because I'm a woman, I'm not supposed to _____ you can fill that blank in.....

We are heirs and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. We want the Word of God to go forth and then we are quiet when we should be speaking… Continue
