As the proud mother of 2 wonderful children who are now adults and the grandmother of 1. I have experienced great joy and pain of motherhood. It’s apart of the experience. I must admit; I was one of those parents who would say “you don’t get an instruction manual when you birth a child.” How very wrong I was and not only that but I spent time around people who I considered to be more mature in the CHRISTian walk than I. They too agreed that there is no manual that is given to raise a…

Galatians 5:19-21 “The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

1Timothy 4:12
To the young in age and to the young in heart; never allow anyone to despise the fact that you are young. Being young and mature are two different definitions. The young in age want so badly to be adults and the adults want to recapture their youth. Being young either in age or heart is a great gift. The young in age don’t have to deal with going to work in order to meet the finances of a home, a car note or repairs, the purchase of food and clothes and so many…

1 Thessalonians 5:15-18
If you are a serious thinker much like me; you may take life much too serious. Well, though I'm still a serious thinker; I know longer take life much too serious. I now see the humor in life. So it gives me reason to rejoice. Always and I do mean always look for the humor in life. If you would view life as if it were a TV program, play or movie; you may not find it so offensive. After all 90% of programming is a lifestyle; a culture that does exist.…

Philippians 4:6-7
Prayer has not always been a focal point of my life. I used to say to myself; “GOD knows everything, so what do I need to pray to HIM about?” I did not understand that prayer helps to form an intimate relationship between GOD and HIS child. As good parents we always want our children to share with us their joy and pain; their needs and wants; their dreams, goals and visions for their life. It’s no different with GOD. HE desires an intimate relationship with…

Ephesians 4:31-32
It amazes even me how we are more apt to forgive other before we forgive ourselves. There are things that had been done to me by others that I forgave and the things that I had done; I never addressed. Without forgiving yourself we set ourselves up for inner torture. It takes root within us and buds then blooms into ugliness that we can’t explain. It is just as important to forgive ourselves as it is to forgive others of the wrong that has been done and…

Ephesians 2:8-9
So many of us believe that we are okay with GOD because we help those who are in need. Attend church; volunteer and so forth. But these and other things that we do that is considered work or pleasure does not cut it with GOD. GOD does not sit in heaven with HIS eyes on you and give us merits for our works. There is only one way to be made right with GOD and there is absolutely no other way at all.
John 14:6 JESUS said to him “I AM…

Galatians 5:22-23
There was a time period of my life that I had a spirit of anger. The thing is I did not know this; all my life I had been excellent at keeping my feelings to myself. Because of this without realizing it because I never lashed out at people; I was not rude; I did not speak harm to other; I developed an internal cooking pot. I had a knack at sarcasm; I'm told that my sense of humor is dry so for the most part the only people who got what I was…

WOMEN OF GRACE
"Women of Grace", is what the Lord brought
to my mind a few weeks ago. As I lay thee on my bed to receive from
the Father what He would have to say on "women of grace", I
knew it was something that He wanted me to share with the women. men
could benefit from this as well. It's…

2 Corinthians 9:4-7
Right out the box; I want to establish the difference between giving and tithing.
Giving is to present voluntarily and without expecting compensation.
Tithing is a tenth of the produce of the earth consecrated and set apart for special purposes. The dedication of a tenth to God was recognized as a duty before the time of Moses. Abraham…

2 Corinthians 5:17
When a baby is born he/she is a clean slate with the exception of what he/she has been hard wired for. They are innocent and need to be taught. The same for the new CHRISTian they are new born babes; innocent and need to be taught. Most of us when we came to JESUS did not get that instant all purpose clean up that you and everyone who knew you could see and hear. That percentage is small; however, for the remainder of us folk; we have to be told and…
