"To Reach Them, Teach Them and Release Them to GOD's PURPOSE."
1Timothy 4:12
To the young in age and to the young in heart; never allow anyone to despise the fact that you are young. Being young and mature are two different definitions. The young in age want so badly to be adults and the adults want to recapture their youth. Being young either in age or heart is a great gift. The young in age don’t have to deal with going to work in order to meet the finances of a home, a car note or repairs, the purchase of food and clothes and so many other necessities of life. The young at heart though they have to meet the daily goals of life, work, home, family and so forth; they have an ability to not take life too seriously but to roll with the tide instead of against it. A person who is young in heart can make life seem easy and people wonder; how is this possible? Sure you can be young in heart as a believer or a non-believer but when you are young in heart as a believer; the life that you make seem to look easy; JESUS actually makes easy. You may still have punches thrown at you but instead of trying to figure things out for yourself or putting a mask on to cover up what is really going on in your life. You have JESUS to rely on. GOD said that HE would never leave us or forsake us. JESUS also said my yoke is easy and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30)
I know that GOD is with me in the good times and bad; I share my ups and downs with HIM. When I took life too seriously; I was trying to regulate life under my terms but when my heart was transplanted with that of JESUS; I became young at heart. I don’t cover up my hurts and pains. I reveal them, when I trip and show my unjust irritability, I share it with others so that they can know that I still have challenges. I want to be a good example to others in what I say and do but I can’t be if I don’t show the real me and that’s all of me. I live to be transparent before people. I don’t want any hidden agendas or past errors to decrease the level of victory that I desire. I consistently confess that I am an overcomer; I have overcome so much and I'm still overcoming. My life is victorious; my life is not a race to see who gets to the prize first. My race is to get to the finish line.
