There's A Hole in This Story!

Luke 24:10 - It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James,
and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.

What did they tell them? These women went to the tomb of Jesus to anoint His
body, and when they got there the stone had been rolled away, and they were
greeted by two men in shining clothes!

They were told that Jesus wasn’t in the tomb, they had already went in and saw
that for themselves! They were looking for an explanation, they were perplexed,
and then THE MESSAGE came! Depending upon where you come from the Message,
or the sermon was revealed!

The angels told them that Jesus had risen from the dead! Now THAT’S some
good news! They keep saying that if you want to get the word out, telegram,
telephone, tellawoman….

Now these women, I imagine was too excited, and probably RAN to tell THAT!
When you get a revelation from God, you can’t do anything but get excited
and then you want to share! Who did they tell it to? They went straight and told
the apostles. Those mighty men, full of the word, full of power, full of conviction,
full of fortitude, full of doubt…… Oh, did I say doubt??? Shhhhhhh………..

Yup, the Bible says in verse 11 that they “believed them not”. Now you remember
Jesus KEPT telling them over and over that He would be crucified, and buried,
and rise again?!

He doesn’t lie, and He’s dead on with His accuracy, (guess you have to be
when making the world…) And they heard the report from eye witnesses,
AND they were told in advance the things that were to come….. Yet, they
still didn’t believe it.

These women DIDN’T SEE Jesus and believed, Thomas didn’t see Jesus
and wouldn’t believe UNTIL…

Sigh****Isn’t it something how God can speak to a woman, and produce a
word through her, and just because she is not “anatomically correct”, then
somehow it couldn’t be God? She must be mistaken, she didn’t see what she
thought she saw. She didn’t really hear God.… Incredible isn’t it?

But these women, went boldly in and spoke forth what God showed them!
They ran to tell THAT, and we’ve been telling the story ever since!

So……I guess that rolled away tombstone puts yet another “hole” in the women ought to be silent argument, huh? ;)
