Who am I? At a young age I was infected with the virus called people pleasing. This virus quickly progressed to the disease called low self-esteem. I knew the cure was love, but I went looking for it in all the wrong places. As a result, I became pregnant at the age of 17, which led to a 3-year bout with postpartum depression. Then, one night while alone crying myself to sleep in my studio apartment, I heard a voice tell me they loved me; I HAVE NEVER FORGOTTEN THAT VOICE! That voice saved my life and introduced me to an agape love. That voice loved me so much I began to love myself, which is the true cure to the disease called low self-esteem. Every since, my desire has been to acquaint others with this love that has consumed me. It is the love of Jesus Christ. I am Shaunta, a woman after(chasing) God’s heart, to become a woman after (in the image of) God’s heart.
