Welcome To The Alliance of Women Clergy!!!

The Lord has shown awesome Favor in this move of unity amongst his dedicated servants. The Alliance of Women Clergy is not a womens ministry so to speak. It is a "Resource" for Women In Ministry. The vision for the Alliance has always been for it to continue to grow into an organization with a sizable international membership base that is able to offer numerous benefits.

And now these plans have come to pass for the 2012 membership year. The new benefits package offers you great values such as the option to participate in:

1. Group Health Care Plans for you and your family.
2. Group Life Coverage
3. Group rated Retirement plans

You will also have access to services such as :National and local retailer discounts.

Membership is open to Women who are aspiring to or currently active in ministry activity or Clergy Functions. Whether she is The Pastor of a church, serving under a Pastor in a Ministerial Staff Position, Leading or directing ministry groups or events, Currently enrolled or a recent graduate of Seminary or a Religious Studies Intitution, or serving another Servant as an Adjunctant, the Alliance is open and available to Her. The Woman of God may be involved in ministry as a Lay Leader, a Licensed Minister or Ordained Clergy to be a member.

We are not an Apostolic, Episcopal or Pastoral Covering of any kind so there is no conflict in regards to existing convenants and protocols of that nature.
Now that the Lord has blessed us by allowing us to reach the goal of providing benefits to our members, The Alliance is also in existance to provide Encouragement, Education and Fellowship through Events(Conferences, Retreats & Worship Experiences), Publications (The National Registry), Networking at our Monthly Meet&Greets and The Suzanne M. Thompson Program For Ministerial Excellence.

If we have not already, will be scheduling a Meet&Greet in your area very soon. The key to this is identifying and connecting with Women of God in Leadership such as yourselves, who are willing to help us establish a new chapter by becoming a member herself and then inviting other women of God like herself to the Meet&Greet. We will handle all the arrangements and God will Handle everything else!

The Main Goal of the Alliance is to be of assistance to Women Clergy in a way that frees them up to concentrate on their ministry work. Many Women in ministry are attempting to do full time ministry while working a full time secular job and balancing all that with full time family responsibilities as well. It becomes a question of balance and prioritizing. In most cases, we put ourselves LAST.

This can be detrimental to our Health and emotional well being, our families, our income sources and most of all our MINISTRIES can suffer as a result.
Let us band together to help lighten the load and carry it together!
