"To Reach Them, Teach Them and Release Them to GOD's PURPOSE."

Psalm 145:2 - Everyday Will I bless you

"Everyday will I bless You; and I will praise Your name forever and ever." Psalm 145:2

"Bless Me! Bless Me! Bless Me" Everyday we approach God with the same request, "Bless me!" We all have various perspectives of what that blessing would look like if God answered that prayer. Our limited perspective is frequently why we miss the real blessing afforded to us: the opporunity to bless Him.

Wee were born in sin and shaped in iniquity. We have no right to stand before a Holy God. In the face of His Holiness we are extreme filth. No sin can stand in His presence. Therefore, approaching His glory and invoking His presence is to put our very lives in jeopardy. The Bible says that He inhabits the presence of His people. Therefore, we are granted an extreme privilege to  be able to invoke and bask in His awe inspiring presence. The mere fact that we are still standing and have been honored with the privilege of drawing close to Him is a blessing in and of itself.

When we realize this, we also realize that moment by moment (regardless of anything we may be experiencing) we are already blessed. Therefore, we can proclaim, "Everyday will I bless you." Because we know that we are already blessed, We will actively look for an opportunity to make God smile. We will see out chances to bring Him pleasure. We will make our lives environments in which the Lord may dwell. Here's my prayer, "Lord, please let my life be a praise. Let my life depict my gratitude for your love, my appreciation for your grace, my gratefulness for your mercy. Thank you Lord for every tear I've cried. Thank you for every pain I've experienced. It in those times that I am reminded of how privileged I am to have Your presence. Without those times I would take the power of, comfort in, and strength from Your presence for granted. Thank you for the hiding place that is Your name, for at the mention of Your name every knee must bow and every tongue must confess that You are Lord. At the name Jesus my pain must admit that you are Lord. Thank you Lord and amen!!"
