Is it well, with my soul!

When peace, like a river, attended my way,

Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul. Refrain: It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Every now and then, I must ponder on this hymn.  It reminds me that whatever my lot, I must choose to say, "It is well."  By choosing, I have the power and authority to say-so.  Plus, it puts me in a position of alignment with Christ, who is the keeper of my soul.  NO matter what I see, feel or hear, my words dictate faith in action.  My trust and confidence in God must rise above anything opposed to the Word of God.  I will not fear nor will I doubt.  I will continue to focus & fix my eyes on above.  Is it well with your soul?

May Gods word continue to nourish, strengthen and encourage our hearts.  AMEN
