Pastor Gloria Moye was born on February 15th 1959 in Darlington, South Carolina. There as a youngster, she was a part of an all black county schools system. In 1970, her family relocated to Buffalo. She attended Public School #31 and Fosdick Masten High School. Gloria also has a tremendous amount of experience in nursing.

In 1976, she was baptized under the leadership of the late Rev. Walter Harris. Her love and joy of Jesus Christ grew enormously under the leadership of Rev. Harris.

In September 1989, her father, the late Rev. James Eckridge had a vision to pastor. In the 1990's, she served as choir director, clerk, deaconess and a missionary.

In April 1997, she was ordained as an evangleist. She became president of the women's ministry also.

After her father went on to glory in August 1999, she led the congregation for 3 years, praying for an answer from the Lord. The elders of the church confirmed her growth in the Lord.

So, on October 25th 2002, she was elected to be the 2nd pastor of True Faith. She currently serves as Sr. Pastor of the church, a teacher, superintendent and whatever the Lord tells her to do or be.
