Please give us a short bio: Evangelist Nellie Griffith was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. She went to college at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. After VCU she relocated to the Washington, DC area for 10 years. When needed by her family, she moved back to New York City. There she attended theological school at Zion Cathedral COGIC in Freeport, NY. Now she is currently attending Liberty University and in full-time ministry living in Raleigh, NC.

Evangelist Nellie has always been deeply involved in church and the administrative responsibilities of ministry. She knows the importance of growth in your spiritual walk. Evg. Nellie has remained steadfast in acquiring spiritual wisdom and knowledge from the Word of God and mentors ordained by God for the various seasons of change.

Evangelist Nellie acknowledged the calling on her life to preach the Word of God. In February, 2002, The Lord gave her charge of Singled Out By Design Ministries which focuses on education and support of His people. In this ministry, there are several different programs: Focus On Glory Online Bible Study, Back2Basics Bible Teachings, S.O.S. Drama Deliverance ministry, and Sisters of Excellence & Extraordinary Power Fellowships (SEEP). Within SOBD Ministries, she mentors, counsels women, preaches, teaches, facilitate workshops and seminars. She preaches/teaches on the platform of "No Competition In GOD" which is the foundation of the Mandate of Unity especially for women in ministry leadership. The ministry is currently located in North Carolina, New York, the Washington, DC metro area and is expanding. This ministry is a ministry unto Leadership as well as the unsaved. Not one confined to a building but one committed to building excellence in the Kingdom of God. Nov. 22, 2008, she was licensed and ordained as an Evangelist by Bishop Fred Matthews of St. Matthews of St. Matthews Temple Church of Christ, Inc in Fayetteville, NC.

Most importantly, Evangelist Nellie is a daughter of the Most High God. She Loves Him, She Trusts Him, and She Is Obedient to Him!! She loves to help and encourage others as she travels on her journey. Her favorite scripture that keeps her going is: Philippians 4:6,7 "Be anxious for nothing but everything in prayer and supplication make your request known onto God and the Peace of God which passes all understanding will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus".
