The Alliance of Women Clergy

"To Reach Them, Teach Them and Release Them to GOD's PURPOSE."

1. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans 8:29
2. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh. John 1:1, 14a
3. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. 1John 4:8
4. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. John 13:35

Daily we are being conformed to the image of love. That's why.

Charity (LOVE) suffereth long, and is kind; Charity (LOVE) envieth not; charity (LOVE) vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, beleiveth all things, hoeth all things, endureth all things. Charity (LOVE) never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. (1 COrinthians 13:4-8)

What does it take to conform me to the image of love? How can I exemplify love if I never have an opportunity to suffer long and still be kind, look at the prosperity of others but not envy thier success, etc. I have to be faced with the difficulty in order to display the love's dynamic. (Lord, help me).

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

He has already helped me by giving me the power. It is now my responsibility to be a witness of that power by living it.
